The Iowa State Fair is expanding vendor opportunities to include local Iowa producers of fresh fruits, vegetables, meat and flowers. The Fair View Farmers Market, new for 2024, is part of a reinvention of the Grandfather's Barn area at the top of the hill behind the Cultural Center. The Grandfather's Barn area will feature the Iowa Wine Growers Association in the barn, a new Bubbly Bar on the hill and an all-Iowa market called the Fair View Farmers Market.
To make the new Fair View Farmers Market successful, the Iowa State Fair is seeking vendors who are passionate and ready to provide high-quality, locally sourced products. Whether you specialize in fresh vegetables and heirloom tomatoes, fresh cut flowers and dried bouquets, microgreens and live plants, or unprocessed meats, the Fair View Farmers Market will feature producers who have an Iowa product story to tell.
10x10 locations are available for $30 per day. Applications can be submitted for one day or multiple days. The hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The application deadline is June 1, 2024.
